The collection contains yearbooks, textbooks, information on the birth of the high school, general correspondence, newsletters, photographs, and artifacts including class rings, a sweatshirt, and a trophy documenting student life and school operations at Drexel Catholic High School in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1964 through 1967.

The collection consists of a photograph of Atlanta-based, African American educator Peyton Austin Allen as a principal with students in 1887, a poster of Negro Day at the Georgia State Fair, October 16, 1899, and newspaper clippings related to Allen's death in 1936.

The collection consists of photographs, slides, an audiotape recording of a visit through the Norwood community, and creative writings of the students, including "Change Agent Stories" and original poems about the Thomasville Heights community created between 1995 and 1996.

The paper materials within the collection include information on topics such as: asthma, allergens, education on decreasing prevalence/impact of asthma in children, smoking cessation/impact of smoking, dust mites, cockroaches. Some of these paper materials were created internally, and others are from partner organizations. There are also papers used within the organization for internal record keeping by community health workers.
