This general series contains documents that date from 1958 to 2000. The array of personal items includes biographical information, correspondence, legal documents and calendars that document Hosea Williams' personal and professional activities during this period. Also included are army discharge papers, arrest history, and other legal matters. This series also contains correspondence from family, requests for help and letters from students participating in Sojourn to the Past (a Civil Rights education project which offered students a unique opportunity to learn about the Civil Rights Movement from leaders of the period). There are also Daily Minders calendars including a Daily Minder for 1968, the year of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination. Awards and certificates that have been received by Hosea Williams are also part of this series.
