Series 8, Gubernatorial Campaign, contains articles, correspondence, speeches, schedules, brochures, and memorabilia. Articles are about local and national campaigns and candidates, current events, and topics pertinent to Young's campaign, such as crime, drugs, and the environment. There are speeches, brochures, and articles for and about other candidates for governor as well as other local and national campaigns. Correspondence includes letters to and from supporters, staff members, and acquaintances concerning campaign contributions, strategy, and day-to-day business.
