Biography
"Mr. Simon was born in Memphis,Tennessee on July 4, 1908. He attended high school at LeMayne Institute and College at Atlanta University, graduating from Clark College in 1933 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Mr. Simon was an All American football lineman at both Atlanta University and Clark College. He supported both schools as a member of the Board of Trustees and was Acting chairman of the Board at Clark College form 1968 to 1984.
He joined Atlanta Life Insurance Co., in 1934 as a special salesman and served in a number of positions. He retired in 1977 and was elected Chairman of the Board in 1984.
